And so long, Bhikkhus, the Vision of knowledge of these Four Noble Truths with the three sections and twelve modes as they really are, was not well purified by me,
* ယထာဘူတံ = ဟုတ္မွန္သည့္အေလ်ာက္ ျဖစ္သည့္အတိုင္း
Yathābhūtan - in truth; in reality, in its real essence: - according to the reality. ၁။ သစၥဉာဏ္ = သစၥာေလးပါးတို႔၏ သ႐ုပ္သေဘာသက္သက္ကို သိေသာဉာဏ္
sacca-ñāna - The knowledge that it is the Truth.
၂။ ကိစၥဉာဏ္ = သစၥာေလးပါးတို႔၏ ဆိုင္ရာလုပ္ငန္းကို သိေသာဉာဏ္
kicca-ñāna - The knowledge that a certain function or action with regard to this Truth
should be performed.
၃။ ကတဉာဏ္ = သစၥာေလးပါးတို႔၌ အလုပ္စခန္းၿပီးေျမာက္ၿပီဟု သိေသာဉာဏ္ kata-ñāna - The knowledge that, that function or action with regard to this Truth has been performed.
ေန၀ တာ၀ါဟံ ဘိကၡေ၀ သေဒ၀ေက ေလာေက သမာရေက သျဗဟၼေက သႆ မဏျဗဟၼဏိယာ ပဇာယ သေဒ၀မႏုႆာယ “အႏုတၱရံ သမၼာ သေမၺာဓႎ အဘိ သမၺဳေဒၶါ” တိ ပစၥညာသႎ
So long was I,
Bhikkhus, could not admit that “I was a perfect
Buddha who had attained the full supreme ENLIGHTENMENT, in the midst of the world with its
Devas1, with its
Māras2, with its
Brahmas3, with its Recluses and Brahmans
4, its creatures with
Devas and Men.”
1. Deva - a deity; a celestial being; a god.
2. Māra - The Evil One; the Tempter; death personified.
3. Brahma - Supreme being; creator of the Universe.
4. Brāhmana - A Brahmin; member of the highest caste in India.
